Depending on the group’s activity level, outdoor options can include a leisurely walk, a scenic drive along Lake Shore Drive, or traveling up Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway for panoramic views.
For more active guests, Mintzer suggests a hike on one of the region’s many trails, enjoying a seasonal scenic skyride at Gore Mountain or cycling along the Warren County Bikeway. Ironically, one way to see the fall foliage off track is to literally get on historic railroad tracks. Another hidden gem is Natural Stone Bridge & Caves. Visitors follow a self-guided trail through dramatic rock formations, waterfalls, caves, and grottos surrounding one of the largest marble cave entrances in the eastern United States.
